And it wasn't even running. Now imagine what will happen if you'll launch it.. Insincere is a nice little indie-fps. The player wakes up in a strange facility with no memories and is searching for a way out. The whole game has little outdated graphics but good voice-acting and music. The story is good and there are a few ingame-cinematics. Gameplay is fluid and the shooting is fun. Controls are ok, but maybe you need to change keybindings in an ini file. All in all, i like it very much and had a lot of fun in my playthough. Playtime is arounf 2 hours. For that cheap price, i recommend it.Pros:Fun to playStoryVoice-actingMusicPriceCons:Outdated graphicsNo options-menuHere a few minutes of ingame-footage:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GZDhAR3DxLc. Forever condemned to the "Stupid" category. Bad writing, bad enemies, just took itself too seriously.. While it is a classical FPS with a nice story idea, there are too many issues to really enjoy this game:- Interact-Key is "Enter" which means you need to move one hand away from your regular controls to interact with stuff- Sound effects are sparce and weren't placed in the 3D environment properly. On headphones this means I heard an enemy snarl on my right ear only when it was right in front of me. I can't hear my gunshots or if I actually hit the enemy. But I do hear that I'm hurt.- The attack distance of the melee-Enemies you encounter right from the start seems off. It feels like they have arms longer than rendered and can attack you from a distance way too far away. This is only a minor thing though, since it just affects the difficulty of the game- I stopped playing on the fourth level or so, because an enemy pushed me through the wall into the void, effectively killing me. - After I died, I had to restart entirely, because the game does not save automatically for you. Not even upon reloading new levels. I know this was rather common back in the day, but being used to modern game mechanics it is something that should be indicated to new players. To sum it up:- Bad controls- Misleading sound rendering- Strange melee distances- Clipping errors lead to insta-death- No Auto-Save. Hello everyone, today I tell you about this wonderful game. It has its pros and cons. + Good game, monsters are attacking not expect good gameplay. - Monsters can be seen through the texture. 9/10. Where to start with this game... I got it in some sort of bundle, because I know I wouldn't have bought it individually. I played through the game in its entirety since it's really not that long. The story line is a little bit intriguing, but not real in depth. I imagine this is what the original DOOM beta version would have looked like (if id Software didn't have good developers).Surprisingly, I only had the game crash on me twice, unlike what others have experienced. All in all, not HORRIBLE, but not worth a recommendation.Quick list of "issues" (I think many are due to limitations of the game engine used): The "assault rifle" is more like an assault machine gun The music tries to set the mood in different parts, but it really doesn't succeed well At one point, a monster attacked me from a ledge directly above me, and I couldn't find him There are basically three types of enemies (monsters, soldiers, and AI robots) The game provides tons of ammo and health kits (more than you really need) There are no in-game customization options for keyboard, screen settings, volume, or anything else Controls are lacking (the jumping can be very quirky) Low quality graphics (think 90s DOOM era) No spatial sound The voice over work is "meh" at best Monster will appear out of nowhere and bum rush you from across the screen Each level is very small, and you have to sit through a relatively lengthy load time given that fact Some monsters will "freeze" when you attack with the hand gun, making it pretty easy to kill them Pretty dumb AI (they cannot "hear" sounds) MAJOR lag when more than a few NPCs are active The time it takes to save the game seemed to get progressively longer Sometimes when you start a level, you mysteriously get hurt and lose some HP
